3 Weeks Post-Op

We're getting thru, day by day. It's all we can do some days to survive. Jackson is currently recovering from an ear infection - babies with cleft palate are more susceptible to them. We just keep reminding ourselves that some day life will be different.

Here are a few current pics of our boy 3 weeks post-op:

He loves blankets...

So much, sometimes, that he gets himself all wrapped up in them.

I just found your blog through my cousin Rebecca's blog. You have such a sweet son and a story that is heartfelt. Your son is beautiful, and it is evident that you are taking each moment as they come, cherishing the time you have now. Reading your story reminds me to soak in the moments I have with my kids. None of us really know how much time we have with them, while the Lord allows us to care for them. Thank you for sharing so openly about your journey. I will keep you and baby Jackson in my prayers.
